Hartman,I checked. There is no publicly traded company called
VedantaResources. When this is the case, the company usuallyconsists of a
bunch of buddies who go into third world countries,bribe some govt
officials, get all the permits for a mine and then sellthe property to a
multi-national when it is clear that there is no opposition to their
intentions.

Vedanta Resources is listed on the London Stock Exchange under FTSE100. It
belongs to the Agarwal family of Sterlite who took over Balco and also Sesa
