CM gives away Bhaskar Awards

PANJIM, MAY 26

Chief Minister Digambar Kamat presented Bhaskar Awards 2009 to various 
personalities 
for their valuable contribution in field of journalism, social service, 
political, 
education and others at a function held at Kala Academy on Tuesday.

The recipients of these awards included Raje Vijaysigh Patvardhan, Prakash 
Tidke, 
Prof Shamshuddin Tamboli, Makarand Patil, Adv Ramakant Khalap, Rajendra Dessai, 
Waman Prabhu; Sanjay Dhavalikar, Dr Sopanrao Chavan, Dr Vinay Joglekar, 
Bangalsigh 
Chittodiya, RV Prabhu Gaonkar, Sandip Poinguinkar, Sandip Nigale, Sambhajirao 
Patil, 
Madhav Kulkarni, H A Motivala, Suresh Kavalekar, Siddeshwar Pustake, Vasantrao 
Sapkale, Sunilkumar Patil, Jitendra Kulkarni, Prakash Pawar, Pratap Mohite, N C 
Sanghavi, Dr Prafull Bhore, Pramod Ingvale, Smt Satyabhamatai Bangar, Dr 
Shashikant 
Kumbhar, Shankar Buddhavane and Smt Sangeeta Patil.

Chief Minister expressed satisfaction for organizing the award presentation 
ceremony 
in Goa for last three years and congratulated all the recipients and the 
organizers 
for recognizing the services of these personalities to the society.

MGP President Pandurang Raut also spoke.

The CM was also felicitated on the occasion and presented the scroll of honour 
at 
the hands of Rajiv Lohar, founder President of Maharashtra Journalists 
Foundation, 
organizers of the function.
