It seems the Goldsmith, Mr. Ulhas Rivonkar got bailed out by a retired judge and an advocate who approached the Police soon after the arrest. It also appears that besides the 3 skeletons found, the bodies of most remaining also found over the years which police termed as ‘unnatural deaths’ If nobody else knew, I am sure, at least the Goldsmith knew something about Mahanand from whom he was receiving the Gold.
