Hi there, Was in Barbados for the final MBBS exams. This year's students (from my vantage point) appeared to be very well prepared. It was a real pleasure for me to be part of this exam. I am absolutely certain that these young graduates will proceed to become excellent future doctors.
Short but nice stay in Barbados - on the beach. Interesting to see how this little country is fostering tourism development in tandem with (a) protection of the environment and (b) fruitful employment for the sons and daughters of the soil - while still allowing (c) the investors to make the desired returns for their money. There are some very nice (and clean) beach side 'shacks' which are tastefully constructed and, the food tastefully presented. There is much for Goa to learn from other places. May be, somebody in the Goa cabinet will read this and set out for a month long 'fact finding all expenses paid visit' to this little island. >From past experience, I understand that sitting a CM is unlikely to go on an overseas trip - just in case, the usual suspects decide to fill the vacuum with their customary ghuspott. Hence, it might be best that the whole Vidhan Sabha makes that fact finding trip along with 'phamily and phrends'. Goa may actually do better in their month (or year long)absence (;-) jc
