The NRI commissioner has plans to give returning NRI's a pension, and other assistance. while this next one: http://www.navhindtimes.com/story.php?story=2009062514 talks of 2 lakh unemployed in Goa. What about them, poor guys who never had a chance. Is there any commissioner for these blokes, who maybe could give them some assistance? [like for example a 'bekar commissioner'] The gulf NRI's have had their chance at making money while they could, and the smart ones have built palaces and are very well off flashing their wealth. It is the poor unemployed in Goa who have struggled and are still struggling to make a living, who have to be taken care of. To me this looks like another money racket indeed. Personally, I believe that if the Government has the money, they should spend it on creating jobs for the local people in Goa first. Creating more jobs will automatically improve the plight of the people. And then, maybe there would be less people becoming NRI's too!!! Wake up Eduardo Faleiro, wake up Digambar Kamat and all the rest of the local politicians. Get your priorities right!
