Interesting question in the Canadian context JGU. When I came to Canada in the early 1990s, I was quite repulsed with the sight of young boys and girls necking, petting and french-kissing on public roads and places. I am no prude but I thought to myself: I have no problem with them doing that but why should I have to be able to see it? Can't they do it in private? Does engaging in pre-sex mean being exhibitionists?
Now in 2009, since you mention it, I can tell you such instances have become more rare on Toronto roads. Wonder what the reason is. Is it that computers occupy more of their engagement time. Is is that they prefer sexting to the real thing. Or is it that they have finally realized the joys of early parenthood are not all they are cut out to be. For whatever reason, I am glad my aging eyes can be engaged elsewhere. Roland.
