Dear all, I am happy to advise you that our dear friend Alfredo de Mello turns 85 on this July 5th.
Ema and I wish dear Alfredo and his wife Emilia on this occasion. I know you too will do so. Alfredo is the son of Dr. Froilano de Mello - the father of modern medicine in Goa. He is also one of the intellectual Goans who stood up Salazar. In Froilano's case, he stood up to Salazar in his face in Lisbon. Interesting how history is written to honour the fake FFs instead of the real ones.
