Talking Photo/AISI: Michael Jackson – the good, the bad and the ugly Michael Jackson was a great rock star. I simply loved his dancing/singing- beat it, black or white etc. Like many of you, I too was his great fan. At the time, I often imitate him of his Moon-walking. While in the UK, west London, whenever we go out in the market, we used to see a black guy with walk-man who used to perform like MJ. We always stopped by to join many others. Every time we saw him in the crowed, we shouted- hey Michael Jackson! And he would perform then and there, the moon-walking etc. Few weeks before I left UK, I was surprise to see the same guy working in our local Tesco Stores. Even last night we talked about him and I am told he still work there for Tesco. I am sure, he was in tears when he first heard about MJ. I find Michael Jackson an unique not only in terms of his dancing/singing techniques but in his real life too. It was like he was hiding something. It seems he missed a lot on his growing up. His father wanted him to be the best. What MJ was now (whether good or bad) was a result of his father. It seems MJ was denied of his childhood or the teenage life. This seems affected him psychologically thus resulting in some sort of strange behaviour. As he grew older or into adulthood, I guess his success and the money made him to feel that he is now independent i.e. Not requiring to depend on others to make his own decisions etc. And that’s how, I think he decided to go in for a facial make over i.e. changing from black to white. Perhaps, this was one of his childhood dreams. Few year later, for me MJ was not the same MJ I liked before. I now found him ugly. I find his face scary. I said to myself ‘Not all is well with MJ’. Alleged Molestation case. I was in France at that time (in 1992?) news paper flashed with the news and the pic of the 13 year old Chandler. I think, this incidence/accusation cost MJ half of his life. And I won’t be wrong to say he never came out of this even now. The bad part of MJ, as said, was his strange behaviour. How can I forget the ‘dangling baby’ episode from a 3rd floor window of a city hotel in Paris? What ever it is.. Michael Jackson is the best pop star of our times. Moon walking? It must be MJ Curly hair cascading from forehead? It must be MJ One handed white glove? It must be MJ Crotch grabbing? (Girls loved it) It’s got to be MJ God! Grant MJ the eternal peace. While talking about MJ, God, I would like to ask you one favour for myself. I know I am not worthy of receiving any favours from you. No, not the wealth or the money I am after Nor do the pride or the fame But the type of death.
