Perhaps, he was also popular on Akash Vanni Ponnje? 'Anton Mari' name seems familiar but can’t really recollect now. Kala Academy, this year dedicated Khell Tiatr Festival to Late Antonio Maria Pereira. Senior Tiatrist Ligorio Fernandes and a son (don’t know if he is also a tiatrist) of Late Anton Mari were seen on stage on the inaugural day 13th July 2009. see pics A Khell Tiatr by Pascoal Rodrigues was staged on the first day and there are 6 more till next Tuesday. Auditorium capacity about 1000 Audience about 250-300 Tickets Rs. 30 One of the reason for low turn up is that all tiatr shown on Khell Tiatr Festival are those which are already staged here more than once. All of them staged before as 'tiatr' but now the same changed to 'Khell Tiatr' The main difference between Tiatr and the Khell Tiatr- there are no solos, duo or trio songs in Kell Tiatr which you usually see in popular Tiatr.
