The CID in India,is like the FBI in the United States and certain police units in Great Britain, France, and other democracies. Its detectives work under cover, but whoever called them the "Secret Police" obviously not only mislabelled them out of ignorance but also managed to confuse you, Gabriel. That is what I have to say.
