With reference to various posts on the above subject, St. Anne was the
Patroness of our home in Mapuca and so we always celebrated her Novena and
Feast with pomp.
Two hymns I remember particularly well and reproduce below:

Santa Anna, Nossa Senhora                                              Saint
Anne, our Lady
Mae da Mae do nosso Redentor                                      Mother of the
Mother of Our Redeemer
Em todos momentos da nossa vida                                 In all moments
of our life
Valei-nos a Vossa protecao                                             Offer us
your protection

Santa Anna, Mae de Mae de Deus                                  (everybody
sings)
Mae de Deus
(Solo Bass)                     BIS
Rogai,
Rogai                                                                      (everybody
 sings)
Rogai                                                                                   (Solo
 Bass)                   BIS
Rogai a Jesus por nos                                       (everybody Saint
Anne,
Mother of the Mother of GOD
Pray for
us
(Both lines twice)
Pray to Jesus for us)

Unfortunately I do not have the necessary musical training to put the tunes to
requisite notes so Goanetters could sing, if so desired.
When we were children, and our father was home for the fest, his was the Solo
and his stentorian bass used to make us children laugh, to the dismay and “big
eyes” of the elders.
In 1985 when we disposed of the Mapuca house, we took with us to S. PAULO the
more than century old mid-sized statues of S. Anne and S. Joaquim, which we
brought with us to the USA when we moved here. So we continue to this day the
old tradition, keeping live the love for Home and our country, GOA
The very large “Oratorio” in which the statues were housed was donated to the
Historical Institute in Porvorim, being too immense to send to Brazil.
