During Saibinn or *Sant Anton etc we used to make vazes of the the branches by
inserting each in a short bottle filled with water.

It never needed watering, always remained fresh.
Some weeks later, we found the end pat part of the stem full of while white
roots.
So, we dug a hole and plant them.  And that's how we saw many crotons around
the houses.  Croton grows even by it branches - just break and pierce into the
ground ideally during monsoon.

* Like Saibinn, there was also a traditon where some people used to bring home
an image of St. Anthony (the statue was at least 100-200 years old),
Milagrose Saibinn traditon is for 1 day stay where as Sant Anton for 13 days.
It needed booking well in advance sometimes 6-12 months. The miraculous St.
Anton was from our place, Utorda.
