Mario responds: Mervyn, a) If you had been paying attention you would know that this is not something that GOD asked for or JESUS asked for, but it is a requirement imposed by men, and has a specific reason that may be beyond the scope of anyone who is unfamilar with the origins of the requirement. b) The last time I checked, being deprived of their sexuality has had no deleterious effect on these men's enthusiastic encouragement of unrestricted sex within marriage.
