Gabe,

I am surprised you raise your blood pressure in response to the usual tsunami
of disinformation.

The rare exceptions use any pretext to poison the well by presenting flat out
lies like "government take-over of the health-care system," thus bringing what
is now political terrorism from main-street America.

Mario responds:

Gilbert's insinuations above are far left wing disinformation pure and simple.

I'm not sure who he thinks he is fooling on Goanet about Obama and his plans
for a "government run health care system" by spreading bald-faced
distortions to deflect and cover up the information that has been discovered
about Obama and his plans to destroy the American health care system.

Here are clips that show Obama's duplicity in his own words to the American
Medical Association and his real plans previously divulged in speeches to his
far left wing union followers:

I hope Gilbert was unaware of this information and was not deliberately
spreading false information on Goanet.

Here is a report featuring one of Obama's top allies in the Senate, Dick
Durbin, admitting that Obamacare is running into serious trouble:

Gilbert wrote:

Likely the US-based Goaneter, like some seniors who are against government-run
health-insurance, has himself a government-run health-insurance called Medicare
parts A, B and D.

Mario responds:

More bald faced distortions and these are deliberate because Gilbert surely
knows better.

The Medicare system is an insurance system only for persons over 65 years of
age that is paid for with retirement money collected over a persons working
life.  Thus it is not FREE.  The people covered have to pay for the insurance
with monthly premiums as well as deductibles and co-pays and must carry
supplemental insurance on their own to cover health insurance costs not covered
by the plan.

However, because the Medicare system has been designed and is run by government
bureaucrats and is a single-payer system, it is projected to become bankrupt by
2017.

Thus for Gilbert to point to this system as a paragon to be expanded for all
Americans is disingenuous at best.  Either that, or he has no idea what is
going on.

Actually, Obamacare will be far worse than Medicare because Medicare does not
come between a physician and the patient as Obamacare seeks to do, which will
make it as bad as the systems in Canada and Britain with their rationing and
waiting lists and bureaucratic judgments on who gets certain care and who does
not.

Gilbert was apparently not invited to this meeting of physicians:

Excerpt:

Physicians jammed a town hall meeting in The Woodlands on Thursday, expressing
fears about the cost and effectiveness of a health care reform bill that could
come up for a vote in Congress as early as September.

U.S. Rep. Kevin Brady, R-The Woodlands, hosted the meeting attended by about 90
physicians at Memorial Hermann Hospital-The Woodlands.

“The bottom line is that doctors don't want socialized medicine — another
flawed health care system like Medicare. They don't believe it will lower the
costs or improve quality,” Brady said. “Medicare is already going bankrupt and
not quality care. It also shifts medical costs onto other paying customers. It
needs to be fixed first.”
