Why use a Wi-Fi when on the move? You could use any smartphone and get access
to the web. I use an iPhone that I hacked myself. But at home, I use BSNL
broadband - which I think is awesome, considering just a few years ago, most
Goans didn't have a landline to begin with.

I am currently working from Goa - connecting to my office in New York via a
broadband and it costs only Rs 750/month - unlimited access. My whole place is
hooked up to a backup power system, so whether the current is ON or OFF, my
systems are always up.

Since it could get cumbersome to disconnect and get fresh connection every time
I come to Goa, I have decided to retain my connection all year round, even
though I may not use it, for months at a time, when in New York. I see it as
only $15 in monthly expense, but its worth the hassle you'd have to go through
to get a temp connection every time you come to Goa.

Good luck,

Jim F
Colva, Goa.
