Goan Homemade Wines’ is written in a simple layman’s language, focusing in the
basic steps of vinification.
If these steps are followed any person can make an above the average wine.
The book does not restrict itself to making wines from grapes. It gives the
basic principles of vinification which can be applied
to make wines from raw materials of any part of the plant.
It gives recipes of successful wines made by the Goans in the past. These
recipes may not be replicated with identical results.
Application of the basic steps of vinification will ensure consistency regards
the acidity, sugar and alcohol content giving a
balanced wine.
