This is another affectation of weenies - the public declaration that
he is "ashamed." He stands ready to be "ashamed" at the drop
of a hat. Never mind that nobody gives a rat's behind about his
being "ashamed."
This "I-am-ashamed" speech is calculated only to draw attention
to onseself, as if to say, "People, I beg of you to take notice that
I am ashamed, and I am important enough for you to care that
I am ashamed."
To these dainty old maids, I say "Boo."
The only people who ought to be "ashamed" are those who threaten
others, who deny others the rights they assume for themselves.
