August 25, 2009 - Goanet's 15th Anniversary

Happy birthday to Goanet and it’s founder Mr. Herman Carneiro
May all your dreams come true.
Goanet:
I have accidentally found 'Goanet'.
I was searching for Goa related info or groups.. It was the ‘Rosario Rodrigues’
post that got me attracted to Goanet.
I keep sending my posts but every time AOL loudly notified me saying
‘You got post’ (that has been rejected by Goanet).
At the time I did not know what’s ‘Plain text’ or ‘rich text’ although I had PC
with internet for 5 years before that.
It was so irritating to get the my posts rejected again and again.
I really thought Goanet was not for me. And that’s how I ended up forming my
own little yahoo group this month in 2003. Although, each rejected post said
‘to contact one Mr. Bosco for help if required’ I never bothered to contact
until one day.. I then knew what's Plain text. There was no stopping
since then. Today, as you all know, Goanet is for me like an addiction.
Always figuring in top 10 posters or often top 3 and even sometimes top of the
Pops.
I know, I (my posts) can be of nuisance or irritating for some if not many.
On this occasion, I would also like to thank each one of you for your support
and putting up with me all this time. Often, I think I am at my peak and that
anything could happen at anytime.

Also like to thank Flickr and Youtube for providing FREE
'public address system' through which i could talk to you loud and clear
no matter where in the world you are.
