August 25, 2009 - Goanet's 15th Anniversary

As Maurice D'Mello suggests, let us for a change carry out a worthwhile
project on Goanet to celebrate its 15 years rather than use this wonderful
medum for non productive purposes. My suggestion : Let us create a 'Hall of
Fame' for eminent Goans. Let Goanetters decide on the criteria for including
a name to this list. Suggestions for inclusion of names should also include
reasons for inclusion. Let there be a panel to finalize the list. This could
be put up on the goanet.org website.
Am I expecting too much from the respected members of this forum or can we
for once rise to the occasion and show that we can carry out a worthwhile
and useful project - a sort of Goanet Wiki.
Could some netters volunteer to form the panel? I would be very willing to
collate the names which are suggested.
Netters are free to modify or outright reject this proposal. If you in your
wisdom decide to reject it, then please suggest an alternative. Let us be
positive.
