Hi Floriano,
Isn't this the Padri Bhas/Bamon Bhas language, which we hear so much
of in officialese, but is seldom used by the average Konkani speaker
in day-to-day use? Just curious... FN
PS: I recall a tiatrist poking fun of the BSNL recording about all the
phones being "kaamant guntleat". Maybe someone could offer a better
insight into the connotations here.
