Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts & Science from 5th - 18th September. The exhibition, organized by the Centre for Portuguese Language and Culture Smt. Parvatibai Chowgule College, Margão, in collaboration with CLP/Instituto Camões, Panjim, will be inaugurated at the hands of H.E. the Consul General of Portugal in Goa, Dr. Paulo Neves Pocinho, Saturday, 5th September 2009, at 4.00 pm, at the Chowgule College Auditorium. Profile Eduardo Gonçalves Lima do Souto Was born in Luanda – Angola on 13th February1943 In 1945 he come to Goa, with his family, where he live till 1962. In Goa he make his studies , primary school and secondary Liceu Nacional Afonso Albuquerque. From 1962 to 1064 he study in Portugal. In 24.07.1964 he arrived at Lourenço Marques – Mozambique. From AGO 1965 to MAY 1969 he compliment his duty in the Portuguese Army. In 11.12.1966 he married Maria Fernanda Martins da Silva, and they have four childrens ( tree daughters and one son). From May 1966 to 09.05.1975 he work to the firm Rennie´s Consolidated, Ltd (Lm) ), Import\Export\Transit doanes affairs. In 10.05.1975 he left Mozambique to Portugal. From 11.11.1975 to 10.06.2002 he work to the Portuguese Government in Health Department. After his retired, in 02.10.2002 he settle in Goa, and live in Caranzalem, every year during eight mounths and four in Portugal, with his wife. In 1985 he come back to India for the first time after 1962. From 1985 to 2002 he visit India for six times. During all this years with his wife he visit 12 India States , such as ( Delhi, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharasthara, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhaya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Kashmir ( (Srinagar, Jamu), Andhra Pradesh) . With the “Project” Portugal-India, hand-in-hand, he will visit all the 17 India States have rested. Yours faithfully.
