Sadly, it was awarded 2 months after the death of the Melody King (died on 21/10/03) Not even our so called Romi Lipi or Tiatr loving Ministers including Congress Tomazinho Cardoz (Ex.Speaker 1995-99) could do anything about Alfred Rose while he was alive. If they did, I would like to know what? Alfred Rose deserve a 'Padmashree Award' and it's not late even now.
