Almir whom FL is talking about. I do not want to take issue with what Fr. Almir has said. but I wish to comment about a sneaky habit of many Goans. That of attacking others under the cloak of anonymity. No doubt technically Almir has done no wrong but by not disclosing that he was a priest when he was defending a fellow priest he was behaving unethically in my opinion. It is a very clever way of changing the rhetorical impact of one's utterances, as a letter signed Fr. Almir has quite a different impact from one signed Almir. This brings me to a more general point. I think that goanet moderators should start thinking very carefully about the use of pseudonyms. On rare occasions have we had Deep Throats and Penpricks who have genuinely contributed to the public good. But by and large those who use these pseudonyms are cowards who use the cover of their pen names to attack their enemies.
