There is a page in the Bible which says something like this:

"If your neighbors' wife beckons you, do not fall into the trap. It is much better to pay for the services of the prostitute instead rather than looking for free favours.. In the end these favors will strangle you as well as your family which you love"

These many not be the exact words but the meaning is undisputable. And I vouch that I have read the BIBLE.

This is just to prove Anand Madgaokar WRONG in this instance, like he has been found wrong in many others.

Subject: [Goanet] Heckled spotted feathers

Mr. Annand Madgavkar’s letter on employment criterion has raised heckles from a few spotted feathers. From what I interpret by the letter appearing in the dailies, the spotted feathers believe that prostitution is a right of employment when no other employment is forthcoming. Quite intriguing, and why not? As long as the customer does not complain of the product. And when a product turns to be a consumer item it could land up before Consumer’s Forum if the product is stale or contaminated. So also the product’s “Marketing executives” have a right to employment. But I would like to be enlightened why the cops jail these “Marketing executives”, whereas the consumer item is sent to reformatory? It is discriminatory, as both are supposed to have a right to employment. I think this is the right time for these ruffled spotted feathers to petition the Central government as to these rights since the government is at the moment also deliberating on gay sex rights. Ignorance is not an excuse to take up any remunerative employment. If one does not get proper moral orientation to build up their superegos in their homes and schools, religion is there to teach the way of life. You don’t need to be rich to distinguish between right and wrong. Even in the Mahabharata the destructibility of gambling is depicted. How would women like to be placed as a stakes on the gambling table? There are man made laws and conscience. Prostitution and gambling are the oldest vices that lead to ruins and will be legalised only to see you ruined. And working for or marketing these vices is no different.
