I Just turned 30 years old yesterday. Well this is the first time I am writing in and would like to first of all comment on Goa nets that they are doing a fabulous job updating on the latest happening of Goa for People like me who stay abroad. Regarding the Kuwait Goa Day 2009 organized by the Goan welfare Society Kuwait well this has been like a traditional event which use to happen at the Indian Art circle for many years. But since the Indian art circle is demolished , they have been having this event in different venue. I really look forward for this event and I would ask permission if I can click snaps of the event and post it on Goa net. I feel proud to be a Goan cause I see youth now days don't know what is they culture and heritage is . Forget they do not know how to speak in Konkani. I am a part of a Parish Youth Group in Kuwait Called the SPY ( Salmiya Parish Youth) and have many friends who are Goans . I purposely speak to them in Konkani teaching them few words here and there. I wish the parents could do the same . Till then I would like to end here by saying its been a pleasure receiving mails from the Goanet reading comments of different people on a particular subject.
