Talking about the Football Stadium rebuild at its place? Where would be the parking then? Presently, at Kala Academy, Exhibitions cum sales and Tiatr or events are held almost everyday. When these two occur same day/time, one can see the traffic jam on the DB Road. Besides, one lane used (or reserved?) for parking, cars and vehicles also seen parked on the pavements. Little further, one can see one lane of DB Road is reserved for the newest City restaurant owned by the CCP dy Mayor. Just before campal, one can always see 5-6 cars parked in front of Mum’s Kitchen taking another part of prime space on the busy DB Road Panjim, capital city, needs a stadium. Are we ever going to get it? Looks like the Govt or the CM has space to offer to illegal hutments dwellers whose slums recently demolished but no space for stadium? (coming up a separate write up with pics) Ideally, the old football ground space can be used for the Campal-Verem bridge Link? A short cut to Candolim, Calangute and beyond.
