The traditional lamp was lit mid-way by Margao MLA, Mr Damodar Naik, President,
Goa
Konkani Academy, Mr N Shivdas and Mr Vishal Pai Kakode.

Prominent personalities from Margao, as well as other parts of Goa were visible

the audience. They included Mr Mohandas Nayak, Dr Govind Nayak, Dr Bhicaji
Ghanekar,
Ms Mina Kakodkar, Mr Uday Bhemre, Mr Shakeel and Mr Sudil Manerkar, amongst
others.

The CM, who turned up towards the end of the programme boosted the morale of
the
Naad Brahma team. He said, "There is plenty of hard work, all in the right
direction - towards the promotion of Konkani through the medium of music."

The team was supported by Anand Satoskar on tabla, Dilip Naik on organ, Siddesh
Naik
on octopad, Ibrahim Shaikh on congo and Jeetu Tandel on guitar.
