World Goan Convention - 2009 in Muscat Carmo Santos Kuwait Monday, November 09, 2009
I take this opportunity to thank the organizers for their hospitality and gracious attention to our Goan delegation from Kuwait during our visit to Oman for the Goan Convention. The whole programme was well presented and coordinated and my hats off to all the organizers and your team. Personally, it is my opinion that the speeches and presentations meteculiously put up by Mr.Yusuf Abdulla Sheikh, Dr.Oscar Rebello, N. Shivdas, Simon D'Silva, Dr.Prajal Sakhandande, ex-Speaker and Tiatr Academy Goa President Mr..Tomazinho Cardozo, Mr.Satish Nambiar, Mr.Ulas Kamat, Dr.Lad and Mr.Clearance Pinto were the highlights from the participants as there was a strong message in their powerful words and facts that need the attention of the Goa Government. The Indian Ambassador's generosity and cooperation is well noted and I wish him my best regards. The media coverage (Times of Oman, Oman Observer, etc.as well as daijiworld.com and the Gulf-Goans e-Newsletter) was commendable, prompt and highlighted the proceedings of the Goan Convention. The Team work was excellent. If we all Goans in the gulf join hands and works collectively then we can achieve the goals. Once again my sincere appreciation on behalf of our Goan delegation from Kuwait.
