Dear Mr. Rangel-Ribeiro, I agree with you. To my knowledge the term 'Goanese' was synonymous with derogation. Certainly for the Goans living abroad. Its use by the authoress implies a contextual misunderstanding of the Goan ethos. One hopes her recipes are better. I. Nunes
