The ‘Pro Badminton league’, organized by Panjim Badminton Club in association with Sports Authority of Goa and Goa Badminton Association got off to a thrilling start with a few edge of the seat thrillers. Hot Favourites Fomento Flamingos looked down and out in their second round Encounter with Ponda Shuttlers, down 2-0 and Match point down in the third rubber, but the Team held on to its nerves to win the Tie 3-2, thereby romping home into the semis. Models Eagles and PBC Gladiators were the other two Teams who made it into the last 4 stage.
