It is for the people to guess why Churchill is really adamant to build 3 bridges in Navelim. With this bridges coming up,it will not only kill the village of NAVELIM but it will also result in more killings of GOANS on the GOAN roads in road accidents.(Nerul in Bardez was a nice and peaceful village before the Candolim bridge was built). Real need of the hour is cheap and efficient public transport on Margao-Panjim- Mapusa road. SKY BUS project developed by Konkan Railway would have been a real blessing to Goans who have to shell out Rs 50 for a return trip from Margao-Panjim. Compare this amount with what Mumbaites spent on travelling from Borivli to Churchgate.Goans are spending I hope better sense prevails in our PWD Minister. Manoj Raikar
