Frederick logic in the statement below suffers and here is why: what some expat
Goans (myself) have been writing is very similar to what Goans in Goa are
writing, saying on some current issues in Goa. Is it Frederick's position that
expat Goans are wrong simply by virtue of being expats?

Mario observes:

Fred apparently thinks the corrupt leading the blind is what will save Goa from
all its internal and external afflictions.

Fred and Samir are the primary proponents of the notion that there is nothing
to be learned from expats, but those pesky facts keep getting in their way:-))

We are now 48 years into the post colonial era and 22 years into Goan self
rule, and things seem to be getting worse, not better. If I'm not mistaken the
bulk of the positive infrastructure developments that brought Goa up to par
with the rest of India took place before 1987 when it was a Union Territory.
