Dear Goemkars: The GCO will be celebrating the feast of the patron saint of Goa St. Francis Xavier with Mass in Konkani on Friday, 4th December 2009 at 10.30 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Ruwi.
Following Mass, there will be the Second Annual Get-together of all Goans in Oman at Ruwi Church Hall from 12 noon to 4 pm. The Get-together will include: - The GCO Annual General Body Meeting and Elections to the Core Committee - Distribution of Academic Awards - Sumptuous Festa Lunch - Social inclusive of a live band, DJ music, dancing, games for children, competitions and spot prizes. The Lunch tickets are priced at RO 3 per head if purchased before 30th November 2009. Thereafter, the rate of the tickets will be RO 5 per head till stocks last. Free entry for Children below 5 years. The event is limited to Goans. Christians and Non-Christians are welcome. Like the other GCO programs we have had, we expect this to be a grand show.
