Principal Edward Soares Memorial Lecture on 5th December at 4.30 pm at Aldona
The 3rd Annual Principal Edward Soares Memorial Lecture is being organised by the St Thomas Higher Secondary School, Aldona, and will be held on Saturday 5th December 2009 at the St Thomas Higher Secondary School Hall at 4.30 P.M. Prof. Arthur Gomes, Principal, Government College of Arts & Commerce, Pernem, will deliver the Memorial Lecture on the topic "Re-visiting the goals of education". Prof, James Fernandes, ex-student and ex-English Professor at St Xaviers College and Freedom Fighter will be the Guest of Honor and will distribute the Principal Edward Soares Scholarship Awards to meritorious students of three Aldona schools. Prof. Anne Menezes, an eminent citizen of Aldona, will also be felicitated at this function. ==========
