Albert writes:- I studied in St.Anthony's High School Monte de Guirim. I
finished my SSCE in 1968 and we were all 100 students in all divided into two
divisions. I was in B division and Fr.Ephrem was my class teacher and the DIV A
the class teacher was Fr.Arnold. Sad to say that many of us left no contacts of
each other at all. It seems some one from the group thought of having a get
together of 1968 batch and they met some where over dinner and embraced and
hugged each other and the moments were of Joy but I was not there. Suddenly one
fine day of November 2009 I got a phone call from one of my friends and he
explained to me who he was and how he looked that time but it was really very
difficult to recall. This was followed by another phone call and another phone
call and I do not know to express my happiness of hearing the voice of my
colleagues. Last sunday three of my colleagues dropped in .I was meeting them
after forty one years .Some were baldy, others were grey .They send me the
photograph taken at the end of our term in 1968 .Looking at the photograph
tears rolled down my eyes .How days passed ! 41 years have passed since I left
the school. Some of my colleagues passed away while others are scattered far
and vide. If any of those who were in 1968 batch of Monte de Guirim are on the
Goanet please send me an email. I really love to communicate with you
friends.We all had code names and these are more easier to recollect than the
ones given at birth. I have seen some of the photographs taken at some
gathering of ex students dance some time back .Those were the days. Can we get
back the old days again ? Can't we meet sometime somewhere in the month of
January 2010 and embrace each other with love and affection ?
