------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hi Tony de Sa, you have the right to get shares where ever you like. It is your choice! But precisely because it is your choice, and you have chosen to buy shares in Vedanta, a company of dubious reputation that is destroying the environment and exploiting and ruining the people that live near the mining operations and so on, that is your problem. You are part of that operation, and you have to take responsibility for what is happening to Goa's environment. You cannot wash your hands from the crimes against the environment and people of Goa. Have you heard of ETHICAL INVESTMENTS? Carmen From: Tony de Sa <[email protected]> To: "Goa's Premiere Mailing List, Estd 1994" <[email protected]> Subject: [Goanet] Vedanta (Was: Anyone has the guts to hold GoaNetters meet in Morjim?) Message-ID: <[email protected]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 I have several shares in Vedanta's Sesa Goa Limited. So what? This is a pure business transaction and has nothing to with a Goanetters meet where this discussion took of from! And will you clever guys inform me why a holder of Vedanta's stock has to be a philanthropist? And why has the subject line been changed? If we want to discuss Vedanta, why not discuss it separately? After all, Sesa is still based in Goa. -- \\\ = \\-00 <file://-00/> Tony de Sa C u [email protected] \ ~/ M : +91 9975 162 897 --|><| Ph. : +91 832 2470 148
