Friends,
There will be a concert of Western Classical Music by Conductor Pheroze Mistri,
who will be playing his main instrument the violin. He will be accompanined on
the piano by Delia Varga, the same pianist who accompanied Sanya Cotta at her
recent concert in Goa.
This is the first time that we shall be hearing Pheroze Mistri on solo violin.
Many of us have known him and seen him as the conductor of the Goa State String
Orchestra of Kala Academy. As a conductor he put up a superb performance some
time ago with the very same orchestra that used to sound very weak and funereal
in the past; proving once again that the orchestra is a big instrument of any
conductor.

and a few works by Astor Piazzolla. for violin and piano.
