Suicide or fast unto death --- call it by whatever name, but in a philosophy where man determines his/her own destiny (and not some external God who decides it), it is not just perfectly allright, but even important than one decides when one dies.
The concept of Samadhi originates from the above thinking. When one thinks that
one's task in this world is over, one goes for a Samadhi. Greedy Life Insurance
companies will never understand it.
