Sad but true , Goa is no longer a safe place with increasing crime rate and other anti-social activities and elements the day is not far when the GOA will no longer be a paradise .
Unfortunately i am not the home minister nor an IGP nor a Chief Minister nor a Governor of Goa , we need to overhaul the entire Political scenario of Goa , an overhaul and clean up the Police, executive and judicairy, when i read of what is happening to tourists and citizes of other nationalities and we do not express our concern and make statements merely to protect some politician ( though not guilty until proved) , just imagine the plight if the same incident occurs to someone from our family be it in Goa or anywhere else in the world , the trauma, anguish, pain one goes through. Time to introspect and move as one unified Goan force , leave the politicians where they are after all it is not their fault it is we who elect them over and over again and then shed crocodile tears for their corrupt performance. The GOA home Ministry appears to be very weak , the chief Minister hardly bothers as long as his coffers are filled , the Police are making the hay while the sun shines and so forth. GOA needs to be made safe by us goenkars as it won't happen with the Goa Govt (whichever party), for the moment one needs to analyse the security aspect while travelling down to Goa.
