Madam Carmen, This is quite a patriarchal comment! Can't (and shouldn't) women be leaders? I think tribal empowerment more genuine and powerful than all of us armchair radicals put together. If anyone can claim to be the badly neglected, uprooted and colonised sons and daughters of the Goan soil, they can! Their definition of the "outsider" could well be different from ours. The problem with what we've seen is that the Opposition will use such forces only until they are in power! Anyway, let's pray we are wrong...
