Sir,
I read your article on the net "Enemies of Goa" and with deep regret and pain
in my heart I would request you not to take any hasty decisions to act as per
your article. I am proud of you Dr. Oscar Rebello and we Goans really need some
good and honest leaders like you to lead the masses. In connection with the
enemies of Goa it was on the same day on 23rd of December 1986 we fought for
the Konkani to make it the Mother tongue of Goa with Rajan Narayan from Herald
to lead us. Now 23 years back we still remember the loss of seven of our young
boys all the supporters of Konkani who were brutally tortured and murdered by
the enemies of Goa. Late Floriano Vaz and six young boys from Agacaim were shot
dead by the enemies of Goa and no enquiry was conducted by the then ruling
govt.who is also current ruling govt. Atlast the enemies had won the
battle that had divided all the Goans for the rest of their lives in the
formation of Official Language
Act-1987. The draconian Language Bill needs to be changed if we require the
UNITY OF ALL THE GOANS ORELSE A BIG NO FOREVER.
For God sake please don't listen the advices and promises from the politicians
and lets not take some drastic steps for the sake of Goa. We shall overcome it
hand in hand. A begining is already made as our people Goans have now realised
and taken some self actions and result is welcoming. More and more Goans should
learn to vote as per their heart and inner voices and this will be done. Lets
start slowly but other side it is also not too late. The God will always side
the truth and we shall definately have the good results.
Oh Goa people are ready for the sacrifices and YOU all the CORRUPT self
promoter can you cheat us like this ? Please change your mind and heart for the
sake of GOA and we promise we are with you.
