Samir's caution is timely. This is NOT crying Wolf ! Goa is a prime target for terrorists, and we are ill-prepared to deal with the consequences. Better to have low profile parties at home than attend large-scale New Years eve functions in public locations. Sad, but this is the reality of the times.
