Dear Tony Congratulations on becoming an official of the Communidade of Moira which as everyone knows, but no one has the courage to say, at least not in print, has been the scene of many chicaneries.
Presumably we can expect that no more chicaneries may be expected henceforth. The fact that the Communidade had already been bled dry, long ago, is a fact neither here nor there. The flesh has long ago gone. You have only the bones to administer. But given property prices in Goa even these bones have value. Will one of your concerns be to stop the chicaneries that have plagued the Communidade over the years? One thing that can be done to stop chicaneries of all sorts not only in this institutions but in all institutions that you and I are associated with, is to expose the chicaneries that have gone on in the past. I am sure you will agree to work hard to expose these illegalities. I am sure that you will not flinch from your duty in the fear that those whom you expose will deny you of certain favours when you so require them. Right? That would be a pretty difficult task. For it would mean you should have the guts to confront a lot of people whom you meet day after day. People whose association may be more useful than those who happen to tell the truth. Do you have that sort of courage? Are you capable of confronting those who like have done themselves well while you were sleeping? I have absolutely no doubt. And Tony, please note that I have not made any comment about the caste composition of the new dispensation of the Communidade. HAPPY NEW YEAR!! ;-) Augusto -- Augusto Pinto 40, Novo Portugal, Moira, Bardez, Goa, India E [email protected] or [email protected] P 0832-2470336 M 9881126350
