Doc,
I don't think our Mario would feel at home in Oman. The man does not speak 
Arabic and is not a trader.
I will agree though, that he is Goanets entertainer, having absolutely no 
competition.

For the record, the Sultan of Oman took one look at Zanzibar and shifted the 
capital from Oman to Zanzibar.
Bad choice. 
When the winds of change swept across Africa in the early 1960's, he got 
disposed, and died in London, 
I believe, a pauper.

His 31st cousin in Oman, became one of the richest men in the world after 
British mercenaries disposed of the
current Sultans farther. As a side note, the British mercenary who led the 
revolution in Oman became richer 
than the current ruler.
