As Goa?s second Chief Minister, Shashikala Kakodkar turns 75, I feel
privileged to write a few lines about a person I have known for over four
decades. ?Tai? as Mrs. Shashikala Kakodkar is known to us all, took over the
reins of Goa on August 12, 1973 following the death of her father, Goa?s
first Chief Minister, Dayanand Bandodkar.
