                        Happy New Year Twenty-Ten

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Samir,

Agree in principle with your statement "I am an Indian first; of course, I
amproud to be a Goan".

Of course Sachin will can be a proud Maharashtrian in the forseeable future
but can we be proud Goans in the near future; as by then our identity might
not exist!!

Regards,
Arwin

Some of those, mainly who have non-Indian citizenship, have questioned the
fact that I am in Bangalore and not in Goa.

My position is very clear --- like Sachin Tendulkar, I am an Indian first;
of course, I am
proud to be a Goan.

Ask any Californian American --- whether they are a Californian first or an
American first.

regards,
Samir
