The time for your so called 'leteralthinking' and reading between the lines
is over and done with.
Time has come a long time ago for being blunt and caustic and we have
already missed the bus.
'Lateral thinking' is for pigs. [ you know how it scans the next 'pile'

PS: If the French messed up with 'lateral thinking' and kept themselves busy
