Dear all, A couple of recent emails on Goanet have credited me personally with doing something for Goa. I want to state clearly that Goa Sudharop is a result of the efforts of literally thousands of Goans from five continents over the last 10 years (this is our 10 year anniversary). I deserve and take no credit (zero percent), all credit belongs to all the donors, supporters, well-wishers, volunteers, the Board, management, and representatives over the years who are the real names and faces of Goa Sudharop.
I am not writing this due to humility or modesty but the reality is that the total is the sum of the thousands' parts, a diasporic endeavor between resident and non-resident Goans in a spirit of collaboration and mutual respect, all for the motherland they love so dearly. On a personal note, I would to publicly thank Ibonio, our Goa Sudharop Director in Goa, who makes everything happen, all on a volunteer basis. Thank you. George Pinto
