Samir Kelekar can see the splinter in Jose Colaco's eye while he cannot see the log in his own. Compared to other countries, Goa and India as a whole, are saturated with Corruption which is I may say a 'WAY OF LIFE' in India and is the principal reason for the degradation of true Governance and indeed True Democratic Government and is, as I have said in previous posts, a cancer which is eating away at the very heart of the state and the country. One cannot get any service without coughing up bribes and indeed at higher levels, Ministers of the Government and other high ranking officials are literally selling off the Land and natural resources to the highest bidder, enriching themselves while the country's progress falters. Instead of looking at crimes committed in the Bahamas, the US , Australia Canada and western Europe, why doesn't Samir concentrate upon tackling corruption in his own Back and Front yards. Start with the top, Attack corrupt Ministers Including the Chief or Prime minister if found to be corrupt and organize Grass roots movements to ensure the election of Honest and Selfless persons who would rather sacrifice their lives than their honor.Then Tackle corrupt civil servants. Make it abundantly clear and publish their names and their illicit gains even if it is small making it abundantly clear to them that their title is 'CIVIL SERVANT' Not CIVIL MASTER. By doing this, we will sow the seeds of true Governance and True democracy. You will see the state advance with leaps and bounds.This is my humble advise and plea to Samir.
