Within the past 24 hours, we have been treated to two disparate and
yet similar (in affect) posts on Goa Net.

One was a rambling Avernathus D'Souza post entitled ABORTION AND
PERSONHOOD. Anyone trying to read that post, and all 1426 words of it,
surely needed Ibuprofen - at the end of the first few sentences. All I
can say about that post is the following: If it makes the writer of
that post feel better, I feel better. I wonder, though, if the main
purpose of that post was to attack my good colleague, Santosh Helekar.

All I will say to that is this: despite all its efforts, a 'ponnos'
(however large it is) will never become an avocado pear.

Then came an alleged 'preliminary outline of a roadmap to create a
vibrant IT industry in Goa', as printed in the Heraldo. I hope
somebody found either an 'outline' or a 'road map' in that article -
unless the whole idea of 'getting hold of some sops' after meeting up
with Digu kaka......is an 'outline of a road map'.

Meeting with Digukaka, hanh? Could that explain Samir's recent
attacks on Rajan Parrikar?

Be that as it may be, I'd strongly suggest to the Heraldo that it
requires contributors to its columns, to write in English.

from the 'bootlicker' front etc etc
